Customers Overview
Rejoiner's architecture is designed to provide a single system of record for each individual customer's purchase history, browsing activity, and email channel engagement. There may be times where you'll need to proactively intervene and/or respond to a customer request that will require manually finding customer data in your account.
Finding Customers
There are two ways to search for customers using their email address:
Customers
The Customers view provides a searchable database of all identified customers in your Rejoiner account.
Sessions
Since customers will most likely have many interactions with your brand over time, we organize these events into sessions. Sessions are stored for both anonymous and identified customers and are assigned a status depending on the session's outcome:
Session Status | Definition |
---|---|
Active | This session is currently on your site. |
Abandoned (Cart) | This session expired and included cart items. |
Abandoned (Browse) | This session expired and included product detail page views. |
Converted | This session resulted in a purchase. |
Converted (Contacted) | This session resulted in a purchase and recently receive an email. |
Converted (Click) | This session resulted in a purchase and recently clicked on an email. |
Converted (Open) | This session resulted in a purchase and recently opened on an email. |
Converted (Manually) | This session was manually converted. |
Closed (Parent Conversion) | This session was associated with another that recently converted for the same customer. |
The Sessions table is also searchable by customer email address:
